Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Growing In Grace.

My hopes are that this will be a space for reflections on how growing in relationships is made possible by grace—grace given to and received from others, and most fully experienced in relationship with Jesus. Ultimately, I hope this will be a place of encouragement in growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for his glory (2 Pet. 3:18).

I believe we were created for connection with other people as well as with God, and that understanding and experiencing the grace of deep relationship with Jesus offered in the gospel ought to make a very real difference in how we relate to God, to others, to the world around us, and even to ourselves. Relationship with Jesus and the ongoing help of the Holy Spirit free us to love truly and selflessly out of the fullness of the love and grace which we have received through the gospel.

My reflections are largely related to my own experience as a wife, a mother of young children, a family member, a friend, a marriage & family therapist—and the ways in which I notice Jesus impacting me, my everyday experiences, and how I think about and engage in the world. I hope that by sharing aspects of my own processing others too may be encouraged to think further about how the grace of the gospel impacts each of us in our own respective lives as we seek to grow in living faithfully for Jesus and in loving others.

Thank you for bearing witness to my reflections and for joining in on the journey of seeking to intentionally grow in grace. While I have restricted comments on blog posts themselves, please feel free to send me a me message at hello@growingingrace.co if you so desire.

Warmly,

Chel
